5. NONCONFORMING USES. Nonconforming mobile or manufactured housing existing as of the date of this ordinance (05/13/91) shall be permitted to remain in the City of Deer River. No mobile or manufactured home which does not conform to this ordinance may replace an existing non-conforming use in the event of the destruction or removal of the existing non-conforming use.
5.206. C-1 CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT
Subdivision 1. Purpose.
The C-1 Central Business District is designed to provide a compact shopping area for the location of offices and retail stores necessary for servicing the community and surrounding areas; which is closely aligned with the approved comprehensive plan for the City; and which maintains a mutually compatible relationship with the various types of uses.
Subdivision 2. Permitted Principal Uses.
Within a C-1 District, unless otherwise provided by this Ordinance, no uses are permitted except for the following:
1. Amusement and recreation establishments such as indoor theaters, swimming pools, skating rinks, billiard halls, bowling alleys and similar commercial recreation facilities.
2. Antique Shops.
3. Automobile dealers, enclosed showrooms only.
4. Appliance Stores.
5. Art and school supply.
