City of Deer River Municipal Ordinances
SECTION 1: The corporate limits of the City of Deer River are hereby extended to include the land legally described as:
East Seven Hundred Feet (E. 700’) of the South Four Hundred Sixty-one Feet (S. 461’) of the North Six hundred Sixty-one Feet (N. 661’) of Government Lot Four (4), Section Twenty-six (26), Township One Hundred Forty-Five (145) North, Range Twenty-five (25), West of the Fifth Principal meridian.
and the same is hereby annexed to and included within the City as if the property had originally been made a part thereof;
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is directed to file certified copies this Ordinance with the appropriate State Agency, Deer River Township, Itasca County Auditor, and Minnesota Secretary of State and the Petitioners.
SECTION 3. Upon Annexation, the property shall be classified as residential.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication and the filing of the certified copies as directed in Section 2, and approval of the appropriate State Office. Recorded 09-18-2000
